What we do

TraderH4 Calculators provides free online tools that answer specific financial and employment questions clearly. Instead of one giant calculator that tries to do everything, each tool focuses on a single task — estimating an IRS penalty, working out statutory redundancy pay, or pricing freelance work — and explains every step of the math behind the result.

How we approach accuracy

Money tools are only useful if you can trust them, so we design every calculator around three principles:

  • Transparent formulas. Each page shows the exact method used, so you can check the logic and reproduce the result by hand.
  • Honest limitations. Where a calculation is simplified, we say so and explain when the real figure may differ.
  • Cited sources. Tax and employment tools link to the relevant government or authority pages so you can verify the rules.

What we are not

We are an educational tool, not a tax preparer, law firm or financial adviser. Our calculators produce estimates to help you plan and ask better questions. They are not a substitute for advice tailored to your situation. Rules, rates and thresholds change often and vary by jurisdiction and individual circumstances, so always confirm important figures with the relevant authority or a qualified professional. See our disclaimer for details.

Keeping tools up to date

Tax interest rates, statutory caps and employment thresholds are reviewed periodically. We display a “last updated” date on each tool and make key figures (such as interest rates and weekly caps) editable so you can enter the current value yourself. If you spot something out of date, please tell us.

Privacy by design

Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to a server or stored by us. You can read more in our privacy policy.
